From 1 March 2012 critical building work that is known as Restricted Building Work, must be done by an LBP (Licensed Building Practitioner). This includes design work.

David holds a Design 1 licence and carries out Design work on Cat. 1 & 2 Buildings

Services for builders

If you are undertaking a renovation or a new build and your project contains restricted building work it will require a Building Consent from the Local Authority.

That will require plans and specifications drawn up by an Architect or Architectural Designer with an LBP Design Licence from the Department of Building & Housing.

We undertake residential design and draughting to meet these needs and are licensed to do so.

From small jobs like adding a shower or fitting insulation to external walls to the design of new residentional dwellings.
